BRICKWALL CROSSFIT SERVICES
This is the primary service that Brickwall CrossFit will offer. We provide professional programming and assistance for different types of group fitness classes in a safe and controlled manner. Below is a description of each.
This is designed for individuals new to CrossFit and exercise in general. We slowly integrate and explain the nine basic movements that CrossFit utilizes for its programming. We provide a high level of individual instruction, education, and physical adaptation. The environment this class offers allows for each individual to become comfortable with each movement as well as their own ability to perform each movement. This class also allows for the CrossFit Coaches to understand the physical and mental limitations of each member so that we are able to modify and adapt the individual client when joining a regular group setting. Each foundation class will last 60 minutes and will be offered two times a day, three days a week.
This class is designed for the average client of Brickwall Crossfit, LLC. The primary base of its programming is for General Physical Preparedness. Each class is designed for a limit of 20 individual members that have completed the proper foundations protocol. This class will be divided into four specific sections: Warm Up, Strength, Workout of the Day (WOD), and Mobility.
The strength portion of the class is designed for two specific goals - to gain strength in the specific exercise that is being worked on and to gain confidence in the performance of that exercise.
We utilize different dynamic and static stretches to help our clients repair and recover from the training session along with the impact of everyday life. We focus primarily on the major joints and muscles used in the strength and WOD portions of the class, but also introduce new mobility movements that individual members may need or desire.
Designed to allow each client to increase their heart beat, get their blood pumping, and allow their muscles to loosen up. The CrossFit Coach will be instructing each client individually on the proper form and progression of each movement.
(Workout of the Day) this is the primary workout that the class is going to perform. This shall bring all the essential elements of CrossFit together using the nine basic movements along with the different modalities that CrossFit prescribes. The prescription for CrossFit is “constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement.” We use equipment that ranges from barbells and kettle bells to gymnastics rings and pull-up bars. Every day clients are faced with a completely different workout, and every day we inspire our clients to push beyond the limits that they felt were possible.
This class is designed specifically for those wishing to compete in the Crossfit games or other regional competitions. Only after certain specific requirements are met will an individual or team be allowed access to this high intensity class. This class meets six times a week and is for the advanced Crossfitter.
Kettle bells were developed in Russia in the 1700’s. The Soviet army used them as part of their physical training and conditioning programs in the 20th century. They had been used for competition and sports throughout Russia and Europe since the 1940’s. Though kettle bells had been in the United States in some form since the 1960’s or earlier, Dragon Door Publications and Pavel Tsatsouline developed the first instructor certification program in the USA in 2001. With instructors providing instruction based on Pavels principles along with other renowned certifications, we are able to offer world class kettlebell instruction two times a day, three days a week.
One-on-one training with fitness professional. We are fitness professionals that are highly qualified in the field of sports and exercise science and are able to provide programming for a broad spectrum of goals and aspirations. Whether an individual would like to lose 80lbs, play linebacker at a collegiate or professional level, or simply get into better shape, we will provide the program, education, and experience that each specific individual desires. We do this through specialized individual programming. Meeting two to four times a week, we work with clients one on one in order to achieve the desired goal. All aspects of the client’s fitness and health profile are taken into consideration in order to provide the best care and desired result. These sessions will be offered six to seven times a day, seven days a week. This will not be part of the active schedule.
