Greg Schell



Greg Schell has been a professional trainer and coach since 2006. Greg’s love for fitness started at an early age after getting picked on for being overweight when he was a kid. He went home one day after school and started doing push-ups; apparently, he hasn’t stopped! After High School, he chose to play middle linebacker for the Idaho Vandals, but cut his football career short in order to serve our country. While in the Navy, Greg had the great honor of serving first as a Search and Rescue Swimmer and then as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician.  After his service, he chose to continue helping people by becoming a professional trainer in Boise, ID. While in Boise, he provided his clients and other trainers with a variety of different programming from competitive bodybuilding to competitive tri-athletes.

Greg gained his NASM certification in 2006, and quickly followed that up with certifications in NCSF and ACE in 2007. After completing these certifications and continuing his education at Boise State University for Exercise Science, he wound up in an IKFF Kettle Bell certification at the beginning of 2010. While obtaining his IKFF Level 1 Instructor Certification, Greg was introduced to the philosophy of CrossFit. He decided to complete the CrossFit Level 1 Certification and has not looked back. Soon after this milestone, Greg moved on to achieve the IKFF Level 2 Instructor Certification, along with CrossFit completions in Olympic lifting and Endurance training. Currently, Greg is working on his Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Utah, with aspirations of a PHD in Biomechanics.

Aubrey is married to her best friend Matt and together they are attempting to raise 5 active awesome kids! Aubrey loves life and all it’s adventures. Crossfit became a big part of her life’s adventures 4 years ago. After battling with an autoimmune disease for years that left her with chronic health issues, she was determined to get her active lifestyle back. She was currently teaching a grass roots boot camp for the neighborhood but wanted more. She drove 45min. to meet her brother at Crossfit NRG for a little “Fight Gone Bad”, wow. Crossfit filled in the gaps. She continued that drive for 6 more months as a member, and then 3 more years as a coach and gym manager. She’s been privileged to learn and train with some of the best Crossfit, RKC Kettle bell, Pilates, Olympic and Power lifting coaches in the community. Aubrey’s experience includes coaching a successful ladies only class, one on one session’s, WODs, on ramp classes, and yoga. She has attended a number of seminars and workshops to continue her education and be able to offer her athletes the best coaching and information such as Crossfit Mobility, Charles Staley‘s Olympic Lifts Seminar, rowing, Kettle bells, Pilates, and running. She has also competed in fun local competitions. She has helped organize local Crossfit events and judged many competitions including the local F.E and Crossfit Games Sectionals and Regional’s.

The things Aubrey loves about Crossfit is that it is inclusive! Age, size, ability, gender, background, and experience don’t matter. You can do it! The community is supportive and encouraging. There is always something to learn and improve upon. “As a coach I love helping athletes reach their goals, no matter how big or small. It’s very rewarding to see someone work hard, practice new skills and do amazing things.”

Aubrey is also a certified Hatha Yoga instructor since 2002 and is excited to combine her yoga experience with Crossfit to teach a yoga/mobility class, specific for Crossfitters. “Nothing is better than helping someone gain the mobility for proper depth in a squat, high elbows for a clean, or a strong overhead position and then watch their performance improve drastically!"

Taylor Davis


Taylor Davis has been a coach at Brickwall CrossFit for the past years.

Sarah Butler has spent a large portion of her life dedicated to athletics.  She started with basketball when she was very young and then discovered Javelin throwing as a junior in high school.  This discovery led her to Brigham Young University where she competed for their track program qualifying for regional competition all four years of her career. While there she completed her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness.  She also completed an internship with the head strength and condition coach of the sports teams.

Sarah found Crossfit in April of 2012 and has loved it ever since.  She completed her level 1 certification in October of 2012 and has been a coach at Crossfit NRG since.  There she has had the privilege of learning from RKC, Primal Move, and
SFG, Certified instructors. 

Sarah has competed in several local competitions including Fitness Elevated where she placed seventh in the Elite Division.  She intends to compete in the open this coming year.

I began training with the Crossfit methodology in the fall of 2012. At the time I discovered Crossfit I was making some questionable choices in regards to my health and was following a career path that I was just not passionate about. Over the last few years of training with Crossfit and the associated modalities such as powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and strongman, I have developed a sense of confidence and self worth that has driven me to take care of my body and redirect my career in a direction that allows me to passionately pursue my own personal developement and share those ideas and principles with other people. I believe that given the right information and environment anyone can achieve their potential, and it is my passion and honor to assist the people who walk into this gym in doing just that.
